Question: Good to teach the basics to a 6 year old? Does it go in reverse?
Answer: I certainly hope so because I bought it for my 7 year old grandson for Christmas. It does go in reverse.

Yes, it has Reverse function. but when 6 years old children using,must be under adult supervision, professor can't keep the boy a person operation, the device function was more comprehensive

Yes! My 6 year old received this for Christmas and has been sewing like crazy. She has made herself a dress and various bean bags, pillows and other little items. It's been perfect!
